Nokia E61i vs E61 ...

Background: I have the legendary Nokia e61 Nokia e61i my colleague, I use the terminal in question for more than 6 months with the Wind. I surf and call regularly. I previously had a Motorola A1000, A925, Nokia 6680, Qtek 8500 ... (Not in that order)

elegance that distinguishes the model e61i (second generation) is clearly visible. Both terminals have excellent connectivity (missing only the HSPDA ...) and a strength that only gives the Nokia ... The E61 lacks a 2MP camera, elegance and ergonomics renewed joypad (middle button with which to navigate the menus ...). The E61 uses miniSD cards, while the E61i uses microSD. (Differences, if they want to say, they are all here ...).

For what concerns the use that: the original good battery life (something like 2 / 3 days on average use), good reception and good signal strength of the terminal (shell + software).

What is wrong: the display is not the best, steps in low light, but in the sun or backlighting is unwatchable ... keyboard is used to make us a little hand, not a phone, not a handheld ... need a learning period. Symbian: is not a defect but rather too many programs it crashed, with the result that not even the most mobile. Blackbarry I think something more in terms of speed. It will always be better than Windows Mobile. The integrated hands-free can be good if you're alone in the living room, in places slightly noisy (car), not really.

I bought on an auction site to € 90 + shipping, like new. I use it as a navigation system (coupled to a GPS antenna). I'm quite satisfied. (It was sold at 230 €: is not there ...)

What I regret: the hands-of the A925, the touch screen dell'A1000 (too cute), the speed of blackberry. What I would not let
: reliability Nokia, the care with which it is built, the quality of connectivity, which, integration with Windows (above) and Linux.
